The Sleepout Portable Blackout Curtain uses a fabric panel and locking suction-cup mounts on window glass. It is a way to compare room-level light control with a mask: your face stays uncovered, but you need an appropriate window and enough panel coverage.
Measure the glass before buying. The manufacturer’s installation guidance distinguishes the window glass from the entire frame. If light enters around an edge, changing the panel position or coverage matters more than the label on the fabric. Large or unusually shaped windows may require a different solution.
We have not tested its light blocking, mounts, or compatibility with particular windows. Follow the current installation instructions and confirm that temporary window coverings are permitted where you plan to use them. This is more useful in a bedroom or private room than on a bus or train. For travel, compare its bag space and setup effort with simply carrying a sleep mask.
